Review on 🀱 Bamboobies Reusable Nursing Pads for Breastfeeding, Value Pack of 6 Regular Pairs – Washable Breast Pads by Abunsefer Chongbang

Not quite perfect, but better than 4 stars. Costs money.

Been using it for almost 2 months. I also used cheap cotton pads and a box of disposable pads. These are my favourites. First, the shape of the heart. It was a bit annoying at first because it wasn't very obvious how to put them on. I ended up choosing a random alignment around the center of the nipple. For me the main advantage of the heart shape is to break up the contour of the pad. When the edges are visible through my shirt, it looks like random folds, not a porthole centered around my nipple. Yes, the edges are sometimes visible. Damn. They're less noticeable than the cheap cotton pads I've used, but I haven't had that problem with disposables. I think I could keep a few disposables handy for those times when I really care about the lines being visible. A few pads are slightly warped around the edges after washing and are more noticeable than the others, but that's not a huge difference. They absorb well. An advantage over cheap cotton is that Bamboobies do not ooze. They will bleed out at the edges, but only after the entire pad has soaked. Cotton pads (without the Bamboobies waterproof layer) can leak as soon as part of the pad gets wet, even if the rest of the pad is dry - the last straw that made me pay for them. I leaked once with Bamboobies - the pad was completely wet and it would be a bit unreasonable to expect ANY pad to prevent this leakage. I see the reviewer mentions that the spacers don't stay in place. I have not encountered this problem, although I also have large breasts. Perhaps one factor is the size of the bra that holds her in place; I made a serious effort to get nursing bras that fit well. How Much Should You Buy? I find that my 6 pairs are enough to always be clean. I rarely use more than a pair a day. If you're trying to make do with two pairs, you'll have to wash them almost every night. I assume they will hold up while nursing this baby, but it's too early to know if they will last longer.
