I have been buying Purina One for my dog for four years and this is the first time I have had bugs and larvae infestation which was all over the pack about 1/3 down . I bought and received this bag from Revain on April 28th 2019 so I've been feeding it to my dog for almost 4 weeks when I noticed bugs and maggots in the bag today. I have notified Purina One as the food is kept in its original packaging in an airtight container at my home. Of course, they have strict safety and cleanliness requirements, so it must have been contaminated outside of their factory control. If you buy this brand, be sure to check before giving it to your pet. From now on I will! UPDATE: I took a sample of my dog's food and bugs, as well as a fecal sample, to my local vet for analysis. I hope this bad food will not harm my dog's health. After reading old reviews of this product on Revain, it looks like these bugs could be moth or mealybug larvae. Apparently they have been bag growing for some time and this is a common enough problem that either Purina or Revain should take action before releasing it to the public!
