All my USB cables (except the one that came with the iPhone) stopped working after a few APPLE updates. They still look new and shiny but I am a guest that they are not Apple certified so they must go. I bought a pack of 5 of these cables for under $10 and they look, learn and ALL work well. I checked them. As advertised, they are compatible with my iPhone, but is it the same as APPLE CERTIFIED? I do not know. Let's hope this lasts for a while. Updated 09/16/2020. Less than a year later, all five cables stopped charging on all of my iPhones. Don't buy this for your iPhone
