Review on Wing FTP Server by Tutan Dennard

I like how flexible wing is when it comes to its configuration options for each user or group with many access settings within one location so you don't need as much information about individual users. The UI could use some work! Having lots of different ways to configure the same thing makes managing this product really difficult if you are not already skilled at configuring/managing servers & file shares using command line tools which means a steep learning curve until then. We wanted a simple way to securely share files between our employees but also have them keep personal data separate from business records (think cloud storage). we had seen other products requiring dedicated admin accounts per employee instead of more granular permissions, while others were too complicated. After seeing several free trial versions, wing seemed most straight forward yet powerful among all the competition in terms of features / price point. I like most of what it does but there are some things which could use improvement (such as adding more features). It works well for our needs at this time so we haven't had any issues with using wing ftp server yet! We have been able to get rid off other products from previous companies such has cpanel etc by replacing them all together with just one product -Wing FtpServer.
