Great light for books! the best of book lights

I bought this book light for my wife who reads a lot at night. So from my perspective I can say that the light has a nice soothing yellow tint as opposed to the cold harsh LED lights. It's quite concentrated and mostly centered on the book, which leaves me in relative obscurity. It has a pivoting top so you can direct the light where you need it. I can sleep with no problems. From her point of view, she likes the light weight so as not to weigh down her book when she is buckled in the back. She found that the light illuminates the entire page well without focusing the light. She likes that you have to slide the lightbulb up to turn it on. Previous lanterns would come on when you popped them open, and she would often accidentally knock the lantern over and unintentionally open it, leaving the light on all night and wasting batteries. Which brings me to power supplies and batteries. Generally, she prefers the AC wall version. The cable connecting it to the wall is a bit annoying, but she doesn't want to have to constantly fumble for batteries. The previous LEDs we used had button batteries which were either unavailable or quite expensive. The old model that used AA batteries gradually got dimmer and dimmer as the batteries died, which was annoying. The battery adapter for the Itty Bitty lamp is huge and heavy, so not a portable reading lamp. She will stay at our house and when we travel she will just use the small portable LED flashlight she had before.
