Maybe I missed something, I have a Magewell video capture card that plugs into my PC's USB 3.0 port. Using a short cable with the logo (SS followed by the USB logo) attached to both ends, everything works GREAT. I just wanted a longer cable so the capture card wouldn't hang off the tower on a cable that was too short. Everything went great again. I received a Capshi USB 3.0 USB-USB SuperSpeed AA-Male-Male [2pack, 6.6ft] cable and NONE of them worked. At first I thought maybe the first one was defective and I didn't care and I happily swallowed the costs. The second didn't work either. I reconnected my original short USB 3.0 cable and everything worked great again. I'm not an IT pro, but I'm wondering what the chances are that both cables have failed or really aren't USB 3.0 capable. There is a USB logo on the ends of the cable but not "SS". Both scenarios are unacceptable and I'm not worried about the huge headache of replacing or refunding them. Getting lost money and time back is not worth the hassle. Lesson learned.
