BEWARE! WILL NOT WORK WITH ALL BATTERY BANKS!

This lamp knocked out the USB 2.1a connection of this battery with extra large capacity: MAXOAK 177 (12000mAh/14.8V) camcorder V-mount battery camcorder (not for RED series) AND USB connection 1a Dracast 95 Wh professional V-mount battery. It works great with AC chargers, but I'm very reluctant to try it with more expensive batteries! I don't doubt the reviews of people reporting that this works with their power banks, I'm sure it works for some, maybe most. I scratch my head and wonder why this happened. TO UPDATE! I tried the light with this small 2800mah USB power bank which is rated 1a and it worked great! RANDOM ORDER Portable Powerbank Charger 2800mAh - Retail Box - Blue The problem I had with the first batteries could be related to batteries that serve multiple functions and have different voltages, such as: B. the 14.8 V MAXOAK and DRACAST batteries V Mount. But it still doesn't make sense to me as the USB ports on these batteries are still standard USB ports and I've used them to charge my phone and power various types of USB powered lamps with no issues . To be on the safe side, I would recommend ONLY powering these lights with a dedicated USB power adapter or with a USB power adapter. In the meantime, two of my fairly expensive 14.8V professional V-mount batteries failed trying to use this flashlight. Luckily they still work to power my professional camcorder and 14.8 volt lightbulbs, but the handy USB ports no longer work! Bow!
