My mascara is black. The brush is made of silicone and is quite long and thin (generally strange). The limiter works well, and there is never any surplus mascara left in the tube. Very good at lengthening and separating, and also very good at twisting. The fact that this mascara does not crumble even at the end of the day is a significant benefit for me because, in general, all of my mascaras wind up falling off of my eyelashes. Removes cleanly and painlessly with any cleanser or makeup remover. The drawback for me is that there is no volume; my eyelashes appear to be straight, and this mascara further reduces the volume that is naturally present. The fact that it is impossible to fill in the lower eyelashes with this bone is another thing that bothers me. Either it doesn't stain the eyelashes at all, or it leaves a significant amount of mascara on them. Yet, the overall appearance of the eyelashes when using this mascara is pleasing.
