Review on GERMISE UV Light Smartphone Sanitizer - Portable Folding UV Light Wand Sanitizer - 3-Watt UV-C Lamp Keyboard Sanitizing Wand - Cell Phone Sterilizer by David Edwards

I bought it in February 2019. I used a large wand at home and needed a portable one to travel with. (Ah, back when travel was a viable option!) The light seemed dim compared to the more reliable wand I used, and I certainly didn't do a petri dish test, but the portability of this germise was amazing. The small size and foldable design makes it perfect to fit in a handbag/purse. As of September 2020 I keep it next to my earring box and use it daily to sanitize my and my daughter's earrings before putting them on which means it's been used a lot more. Now it won't turn on. I've tried changing the batteries twice because you never know what you'll do with stored batteries, but I still can't turn it on, so I think the problem is either with the bulb or with an internal connection. I've only ever used it on battery power and lost the cable so can't try plugging it in to see if it makes a difference. The warranty has long expired and I'm not sure if it's worth changing. Yes, it's one of the cheapest options, but I'm just not ready to pull the trigger to spend $ again when it's less than 2 years old and still has never felt very reliable.
