Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

All in all, a great workhorse. A run-in form factor and model, with some corrected shortcomings and shortcomings that you can put up with. I took it for outsourced office tasks, plus I plan to work on it in illustrator and flash, without fanaticism, well, play something light, for the rest there is a console, for graphics, rendering, 3d - poppy. He will cope with his tasks with a bang. Regarding the configuration, I did not see the point in paying an extra 10k for an Intel chip or waiting for the release of configurations with the 11th generation, given that this is not a gaming machine at all. There is a reserve for 3-5 years in terms of performance, if the components do not fail, then a very worthy solution, I will not regret the purchase. A separate dislike for the lack of a cover, because there is a pocket for it, but it's empty there. Before that, I worked on an old asus of the 13th year, if I'm not mistaken, still an old high-quality assembly, on a second-generation intel core i7. 4 GB of RAM, with a 256 + 1 TB hdd solid state, nvidia GT 540 M graphics card, it still tears normally, but it needs maintenance, battery replacement, cleaning, well, that's all as usual. And I need mobility and a little more autonomy. In general, I personally have confidence in the Asus brand, I hope in this case it will also be justified. I'll ate my review later if anything else comes up. For prices: I took it on Amazon for 60 with a ponytail, because the terms of delivery and payment suit me. On other sites, prices are lower by almost the amount of delivery, or they don’t deliver, or you can’t pay by bank transfer or some other heresy, as a result, it’s about the same everywhere. If you have cash, you can take it cheaper.

Pros
  • I am writing specifically about the ASUS ZenBook 14 UM433IQ model on ryzen 5 4500, RAM 8 GB, 256 GB, nvidia mx 350, Win 10 home (graphite gray) 1. dimensions, weight, design, build quality and configuration of components for the proposed price 2. performance (see tests) 3. the initial discrete graphics help the process and the embed does not eat away from the RAM, that is, roughly speaking, a full-fledged 8 GB of RAM is present 4. price / quality ratio 5. screen without flashes, everything is even 6. the keyboard is comfortable, the touchpad does not interfere with typing, as many write 7. the touchpad is comfortable, like in a poppy, I didn’t find any design flaws and a mouse is not needed 8. the presence of a numpad and the function of turning on the calculator, oh, how I missed it! 9. the backlight of the keyboard is normal, I don’t experience any inconvenience when working in a dim room (screen brightness per min) in a bright room, I also somehow didn’t feel any discomfort 10. no problems with communication interfaces 11. I haven’t checked it under load yet, in normal office mode (tabs, office) it’s quiet as a dead man, there is no temperature 12. good coverage of s-rgb with a fairly average matrix 13. Autonomy is normal in surf mode, settings, settings, etc. about 8 hours.
Cons
  • 1. does not charge from usb-c, it's a real fak-up at the present time, but the original charge is light and small 2. no case included (abydna), I was hoping to have a ready-made kit for traveling to the office 3. the lack of the possibility of an upgrade, as in other cases for most devices of this form factor 4. Requires color temperature adjustment and sensor calibration
