I've been using these lifebelts on my two dogs for years. This is my third puppy as my puppy outgrew his youngest. Dogs don't touch them at all. They are light and of good quality. We put them on the "girls" when we go out on the porch to keep them safe if they fall into the pool. They have a handle on the back to hold onto and a floating neck strap to keep your head above the water which is great. I have two Maltese who don't like the pool at all but it's nice to know that if they fall in the water they'll swim until I grab them. You're never alone outside, but it just calms me down when we're all around the pool.
