I received a headset with pulsing high frequency noise coming from the left speaker. I contacted the seller who is Razer and they asked me to send the headset in for testing. Well, about 2 weeks later I get a brand new headset in the mail. It still has that noise, but it's not as loud as the first pair. After an hour of use, the sound was back to full volume. My only guess is that this is only an issue with USB models as I've never experienced anything like this before. It's not a USB port as I've tried several, even on different computers. I also know it's not a hallucination because my roommate confirmed the noise. You can drown out the noise by turning up the volume, but any silence in the music and gameplay is filled with a high-pitched electronic screech. Headset as it doesn't have the headache of making electronic noise.
