Review on πŸ† DINNER WINNER: The Ultimate Kid's Dinner Solution by Fred by Justin Gerrero

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality melamine

Very nice plate, excellent quality melamine. It's a great concept and that's why I give it a high rating, but it didn't work very well for us. It helped a little with my son's picky eating habits, but not much. It has helped him eat foods he doesn't like but would if we force him to, but it definitely hasn't made him try new things and actually has more attention to the 'new' food on directed to his plate. A few more disadvantages: First, the compartments are quite small, so you have to cut everything into pieces. If your child has already eaten a whole slice of pizza, you're falling behind when it comes to eating skills. Second, while it's a great concept, figuring out exactly how much your child needs to eat is a bit odd - what if one day they weren't so hungry? At the end you force a certain amount. And thirdly, we now give my child a sweet dessert for every dinner that he has never eaten before. He's so focused on the surprise at the end that he doesn't actually eat all of his food and keeps asking for his "surprise" so we end up doing whatever you need to eat to get X amount. definitely a treat. That hurts. For dessert we return to the usual fruit plate. Still, I think it's worth a shot as you never know what's right for your picky eater.
