Very nice shower cap but for $24 it should do. There is a white band on the inside of the cap that helps create a seal that prevents water from entering the hair. I received the shower cap in early July and after a month one side of the white tape came off. (Photo attached.) Recently the other side also came loose and the tape fell off completely. We went back to regular shower caps, which cost less and last longer. Update: Now the white interior coating has started to deteriorate. While before without the white inner band I was able to use the cap without a perfect fit, it is now useless because it leaves ugly little white spots in my hair.
