Fun Cartridge: Die & Emboss

This cartridge has a lot to offer if like me you're building a library of Cricut cartridges. It has 2 simple fonts that work well when combining letters into words using Gypsy or Cricut Craft Room. Each font includes a shadow feature that gives the letters a layered look. Most of the images are in simple 50's retro style and includes 50 images of people (men, women, children) and 50 other symbols of various household items such as toasters, mugs, hats, typewriters, etc. It also provides 40 phrases and words about them might be useful for scrapbook pages. Do I have a picture of "Hot Mom" somewhere that goes with this phrase? While this is a great cartridge I would recommend it to anyone building a large library of cartridges. If you only have one or two cartridges, look at other options before making your decision. Pros: Fonts can be combined into words, great phrases and words, some unique images, great 50's style. Cons: The font is VERY basic, too many pictures of people. I'm a Cricut addict. with over 60 rounds. I prefer to buy the physical cassette over the digital version as it comes with a handy book. Books are very helpful in choosing and creating images. The cartridge can still be downloaded into Gypsy (a design device they sell) and Cricut Craft Room (Provo Crafts online design software for your computer). By the way, using your Cricut machine is MUCH easier if you use your computer with Craft Room or buy Gypsy. The gypsy is expensive but I love mine. In Craft Room, you need to buy a dedicated USB cable for your computer to load physical cartridges and download software.
