Despite the bright color display, this is a fairly limited smartwatch experience. In fact, it's functionally more like the FitBit I had five years ago, with a small monochrome screen. Almost identical functions. Presumably you can sync this with your phone to control music, read text messages and check the weather. I didn't investigate them except to find that they gave me a weather screen that didn't reflect actual conditions. After wearing this watch for a week it finally needed a recharge which is why I am writing this review today. The general impression is that for such a price is not bad. It can track steps and check your heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and monitor your sleep. Accuracy is not specified for any of these metrics. I put my watch on this morning and after tying my shoelaces I realized I'd supposedly walked 100 steps. That's pretty much what my five-year-old Fitbit would have done. I suspect that today, as then, over- and under-values are averaged over the course of the day. The watch must be paired with the phone app via Bluetooth. There is no other way to set the clock than through the app. And the app, like the watch, seems to have been developed for the Chinese market and ported to English. The documentation is outdated and the text in the app is, as you might expect, clumsily translated. And be prepared for the app to ask for extended phone privileges. Synced with the app, you can track and understand your daily activities with a simple chart analysis. You can also customize the watch face to one of the dozens of designs available. On the outside, this is a very stylish watch. At first glance, you might think it costs a lot more than $45.
