I have to admit that I bought this chair because it was cute! I mean look at this! This is a stylish little chair. For example, people will think you're the kind of mom who actually packs their things when they walk into your dining room. Unfortunately, it's not the most practical. It will definitely work. I mean a kid can eat and play in this chair! The problem is that the tray is inconvenient to insert and remove. The fabric pulls in when you try to move it (see image) and the tray is not adjustable like many high chairs are. Also, when trying to remove the tray, it can be a bit difficult to press the tabs to pull it out. The tray is probably the smallest I've ever seen on a high chair. This is a great space saving feature but I couldn't fit any of my baby plates on it and most of her toys wouldn't fit on it for her to play with. I've never seen a belt on anything like that. Typically, shoulder and waist belts are taken from two different areas: the upper and lower back. On this one they go down from an area in the middle (see photos). He still holds my daughter, but I have less faith in him. Also, my lap belts are as tight as possible and still a bit loose on my daughter who is almost 2 years old (see photo). All in all it's very nice but not very efficient. When my daughter is a bit older I might try using it as a table chair without the tray and see what happens (because it's darn cute).
