*updated below for liquids with different textures* As mentioned before, using this liquid bottle is like shooting olive oil and vinegar with a water gun. In the photo, my stove was clean before I tried adding a mixture of olive oil and white vinegar to the sandwich. Even with a little pressure I get the same result as trying to take a quick shot. You can also see liquid splatters on a paper plate resulting from just two misfires. Even when I held the bottle right up to the bread, assuming it would act as some sort of muzzle, it backfired. I'm nervous about testing the theory that cutting a small hole in the lid works better for fear they will leak. They feel very durable and appear to be airtight. I bought a 2oz 4 pack. Colors as in the photo, no smells. No liquid has escaped. They were easy to clean and the little brush came in handy. The bottles should work fine for honey and ketchup, which I'll test and update in a few days. ** THEY ARE GREAT FOR HONEY! ** another update. Oil and vinegar flowed out. I suspect this was because I poured it over my salad instead of spraying it, breaking the seal in the process and then drying it. .
