I attached them to the glasses on each side (usually only one side of my nose hurts). After attaching them to the sides, I noticed that they were pushing my glasses up, which was affecting my vision through my progressive lenses. I decided to remove the one that usually hurts my nose and leave the one on the "good" side. It aligned my glasses and the progressive vision is fine now. As for adhesion, from time to time it rides up the goggle pad and I push it back into place. It doesn't take more than a day and I put on a new one. Having never tried other foam pads and this manufacturer had good reviews I think this is the best of the bunch but I will keep looking for something better as well.
