Kids Had Fun, Parents Not Impressed

Kids loved to play with the camera. They thought it was cool to have something to walk around with and I didn't yell at them so I wouldn't break it, drop it, etc. First off, we're a pretty techy family, but I had to in order to understand the instructions Press and hold the photo button for a while to turn on the camera. It's fine, but it would be useful to write the words "Power" or "On" on the camera itself. Then we played with it at home. The first thing we noticed, however, is that there's no sound to indicate if you've taken a picture, or a light on the back to indicate if you're capturing. This resulted in many photos and videos of the floor and ceiling. Also, it wasn't that good in low light. However, the photos in the well-lit room were of decent quality and the kids had a blast dancing and using the burst function. The children then carried them outside. Again, as long as they and the camera were relatively still, the photos were fine (good baby quality anyway!). Video when cameraman moved suffered terribly from rolling shutter. It is difficult to observe and very wavy. Again, we're not trying to win any prizes with the video and the kids found it fun to attach to their scooters. We had no problems viewing photos and videos from the computer. The only thing that would be better would be if he could connect to their tablets and get me out of the middle! I received this from BzzAgent for free in exchange for a product test and reviews. Overall this is a fun gadget for kids to play with for the price but be aware that the photo/video quality is kid quality and the novelty wears off quickly.
