UPDATE June 2019: This very smart and beautiful clock is now sitting in a drawer telling great times. With a broken crystal. I have taken care of this watch and even a Casio replacement for any occasion where I thought the watch might be placed in an activity or environment that would detract from its appeal. I was really happy with the device and proud of how it looked. Then one day I looked at my watch and saw a thin crack running from one side of the crystal to the other. Never dropped, never hit anything, which was enough for me to notice. I wore it until the end of the day, and by evening the crack at the bottom of the dial forked. The watch is thin so I understand they tried to make the glass as low as possible but it doesn't seem able to withstand even minor impacts without fail. Even a dress watch has to withstand small impacts. I also understand that sapphire crystal is not to be expected at this price point, and mineral crystal should probably scratch a little more than sapphire crystal, but other than a crack on it, there wasn't a single scratch on the surface on my watch. a little better than I had hoped. There are very small flaws. Positioning the date stem is awkward due to the size of the crown, and finding the best position requires some skill. As for the negative feedback about the clasp and adjustment, the mechanism is common to many mesh strap watches and when you make the adjustment to fit properly and align with the strap cutouts (inside the strap) you pretty much have to be precise if you want a solid fit. The closure itself is typical Velcro and works well. The blue on the face is deeper than in the picture and I like it better in person than in the picture. The effect is amazing. The watch sits nicely on the wrist, but can still be worn in everyday situations as the mesh straps and mineral glass do not tolerate repeated body contact during high activity. For the price of Revain I bought this, it's excellent value for money.
