Can't comment on durability yet but for the price I'm very happy with the light output . The 6000K color also enhances the look of the car. The uniformity seems good if you align the LED bulbs correctly at 9 and 3 o'clock (otherwise, a few degrees deviation will cause a prismatic rainbow effect and change the shape of the hotspot). I have projection lenses so the built in safety screens ensure I don't dazzle oncoming drivers but what I like about these Hikari Acme-X is that they throw more light on both sides and better illuminate the shoulder. The only problem is making sure they fit, so check your existing headlight housing for clearance. The design is long and the heatsink is large, so you may need a deeper dust cap/gasket. If you have the space and clearance I would recommend them!
