This bag snaps into place and is very secure. It looks and feels good and definitely protects a small laptop. However, there is one very significant drawback to the design. Plastic parts prevent the laptop from folding back into tablet mode. Without a case, the laptop can be folded 360 degrees into a tablet, with the top and bottom lying together. When the body is on, the halves are stopped by the body, creating a 3" gap that you can't close. Too bad, otherwise it would have been a 5 star product.
