I should have listened to other reviews - it doesn't work
I bought these headphones to replace a bad gaming headset cable. That does not work. I checked the connections with an ohmmeter and my setup was correct, but the mic didn't work. Tried on 2 controllers. I didn't see the problem so as a last resort I cut off the connector and used a different brand and it worked fine. Something is wrong with the shape or size of the fork.
