Prevents sheets from slipping off the corners of the mattress.
I added a mattress pad so with the extra thickness my sheets and mattress pad keep slipping off the corners of my mattress. When I woke up, everything was huddled beneath me. The clasps are strong enough to keep everything in place. The straps are adjustable to get the right tension. They are neither bulky nor too thick under the mattress. It took a few tries to figure out how to attach them properly, but no big deal. Inserting a chart or list of simple instructions could have saved me 3 minutes. It is great!
