Straps are very short, can only be used in a cage

Very nicely made and attractive but the straps are really very short and I couldn't find anything to attach all four to could . I would say this is for the corner of the cage only and the product details should have stated this clearly. I wish I could figure out what to do with it, there must be an alternate use.
