Review on Happy Trunks Bohemian Large XLarge Honeycomb Women's Clothing ~ Skirts by Laurel Rohr

Update #2: Downgraded to 1 star despite great customer service due to terrible size. While L/XL was too small (although I was within measurements according to the size chart provided), the next size up is larger (3x what is her large size), incredibly loose and sloppy, and I have to tie my belt tightly to make it not slip off my hips. The large size is also quite short. I washed and dried according to the instructions but it also didn't help how the skirt hangs when I wear it. It feels like putting on a bag and there are horrible creases. The plus size according to their chart should be 42 inches, but this is only 37 inches at the longest part of the skirt so it sits above my ankles. (Again, I'm even under 5ft 5in, so my overall height is under 65in)! Based on the fact that I bought two plus size skirts, a black peacock and a plain black one, I can't even say there was a problem with a batch of one size or a specific pattern. If I get bohemian skirts again because they tend to be very comfortable and cute, I'll choose one of the other three brands I've tried. Unfortunately, my experience with Happy Trunks keeps me from trying them again due to sizing issues, I just don't want to spend money on skirts that don't fit me. Their sizes are so far from the sizes compared to the chart they provided. It is not worth. Update: Customer service contacted me and sent me a new plus size skirt. I appreciate a company willing to fix things if something doesn't fit, for example based on the diagrams provided. The replacement skirt is plain black (I chose Black Peacock again when they offered the skirt in the size and color I wanted). I don't find it particularly flattering, and it doesn't even touch my feet. I'm 5ft 4.5in so the plus size skirt felt a bit short and baggy. I hope it will hold up better after washing. The material of the skirt looks a bit rougher and heavier than the black peacock material. was. I'm increasing my rating from 2 to 3 stars because I really appreciate the excellent customer service. Maybe I can even increase it to 4 stars if the skirt hangs better when worn after washing. I measured and chose the size that fit my measurements according to the size chart. I couldn't even fit "l/xl" on my hips. It ended up being a perfect fit for my teenage daughter who is usually "s/m" size. Luckily she liked the print size, otherwise I would have sent it back.
