I bought two of these for my Ram 1500 after a long drive to and from California. During the trip my son lent me one of these, a different brand but similar. It really seems to have helped with the "bad back" I get after 8 hours of driving. They come in a folded plastic bag with two plastic clips and two metal hooks. Designed for the front, the metal hooks are springy and easy to open, but still close fully at the back when donned. Large flat plastic discs were even easier to put on. I first slid the plastic washers into the seat and then attached the front under the seat to a couple of rods/holes in the seat frame. all the way to the front of the seat where your knees will be. One of the reasons I bought them was to reduce wear and tear on my cloth seats. I like the little storage holder because it seems like it also helps reduce forward wear on the seat. I've driven them around town and so far they seem to be working. I'll know more when I make a longer trip, but so far they're great. One note these gel/foam seat cushions will get cold when it's cold outside lol so be prepared when you sit down in the morning and it's winter outside!
