Pretty case with small blemishes

What I like about this case: The back of the case, in which the iPad is located, is very flexible, which makes the protective corners springy and removing the case is relatively easy. iPad if you want. The volume buttons work and feel great, despite the significant stretch required to reach the edge of the case due to the pencil slot. The pencil slot is very functional and holds the pencil during transport. Things I'd like to see improved: The cover is pretty thin, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but does add up to a thin border. This works great with the lid closed, as the lid fits perfectly over the rim of the elastic material around the edges of the iPad. When you flip the lid back to use the iPad, it's less comfortable. The material is soft so you won't cut your hands, but it feels like you're holding multiple things, not just an iPad. The flexible "hinge" also contributes to this, which is a bit lax in the folding angle of the lid and can even slip a bit during use. If they held the lid on the back like the front with magnets that would help. This is the main way I use my iPad, so I'm sensitive to it. I wish the magnets used to hold the stand were stronger. At certain angles I was able to gently lift the iPad without releasing the stand, but at other angles it detached no matter how careful I was lifting. I suppose it would be a plus if you just took it to close, but that's not how I use it.
