An alternative to mugging, Phillips charges for blades but very sloppy marketing.

I bought this as an alternative to a Phillips trimmer for 23.00 which is now 40.00 for a BLADE. The problem is this thing doesn't cut 1mm as deep as the Phillips. I was about to put it away as a spare but found the razor attachment in the box. This appendix is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions or in any of the numerous unboxings on Youtube. I think they missed it too. That's basically what I like about him, and I'll come back to that after explaining how I like the trimmed 'beard'. With the Phillips trimmer, I use the 1mm attachment to get the beard line down to what is ready to use. look shaved. I then use a regular razor to shave my neck and upper face clean. To be honest Gaerou doesn't cut as deep as 1mm like Phillips so I wanted to put it in the closet as a spare. As I packed it back up, I noticed that there was a shaving head that looked like some sort of Schick mini electric head. You simply put the trimmer around your neck and the razor is put on. I find if I'm not too aggressive this little attachment cuts me fine, maybe 0.5mm or whatever, but it's a lot easier than going over and over with Phillips 1mm and then grabbing a pair of small hair scissors. . Now I just use a razor instead of trimmer blades and then shave my neck and upper cheeks with a safety razor as above. The PROBLEM is that I can't find instructions on how to clean the shaving head. All I know is to take it off and blow on it or brush under it, although I can't figure out what that could do. This razor head isn't mentioned in the instructions in either language, nor do the uboxing videos seem to notice it, but I think it's this little trimmer's saving grace. Anyway, the razor actually cuts my facial hair where I want it. Beyond the base of the beard, i.e. on the neck and upper cheeks, I shave down to the skin with the Gillette Turbo. I trim the rest of my facial hair to 1mm, looks like I need to shave. It takes me a few days to grow out enough hair for this 5 hour shadow look.
