So be sure to change the battery even if the light seems bright enough. My units are below deck and will likely require a very strong signal to power up. Ordered a battery replacement from amazon. The headlights look great! Good product! I really liked these devices when they worked on my garden fountain and pergola lighting. It worked for a good 6 months, then the remote control failed. I checked the switches on all headlights, GFI and each unit. I was able to get them to work manually but not via the remote. There doesn't seem to be a way to just order a new remote control. I ordered new batteries to see if that fixes the problem. Will update if this fixes the issue, but unlikely as the battery appears to be fully charged.
