I bought this a few months before the trip because I was paranoid after hearing stories about pickpockets and burglars so I wanted a small holdall that doubles as my handbag and is practical while giving me peace of mind. . I kept my credit cards (no need to bring my regular wallet), paper money, passport, cellphone and 3rd gen iPad with a case (instead of a keyboard) in the main center pocket. The outer back pocket has room for my sunglass case and a medium-sized tube of sunscreen. In the outer front pocket I kept a pen, headphones and phone cord for charging, as well as various papers/receipts. The main pocket also allowed me to fit the standard small water bottle, which increased the bag's capacity, but the fact that I could do that was a plus. This is now my favorite travel bag. It wasn't big (you can take bigger bags) but I liked it because it was medium sized and discreet (I bought the black one) that I couldn't stuff to the point where it got heavy. This bag served my purpose and I can only recommend it.
