I have another product for the back that is not padded and seems to snap easily - the problem is the other has no coccyx clearance and after a few hours the coccyx is sore and numb. I bought it for a three week trip. That works great! The cushioning isn't too bothersome, although small adjustments are a bit fiddly. (If your mobility is limited, I do not recommend this device.). I have thin legs so the bulge in the center doesn't usually bother me, although this product would have been much better without it. I really don't understand why it's there if it's not structurally necessary? If you have big feet this will get in the way. But I was able to cope with this task, and during the ride my back pain was significantly reduced.
