My son is 11 and has to wear these shoes as part of his school uniform. When they arrived we both really liked them: he said they were comfortable and I thought they looked like a quality product. But the "skin" came off easily and after about 2 months he came home with a hole in the toe of one shoe (and the other was not far behind). So if you're looking for something to wear from time to time, this is definitely a good choice. But if you need shoes for everyday use, I would keep looking if I were you.
