There are three main problems with these beard nets. First, the sizes are wildly inconsistent. There will be some beard nets that I can barely stretch to fit my face and others that will droop. Beard nets aren't typically symmetrical, so a beard net will almost always look crooked, which isn't ideal if you intend clients ever to use it. When you're in the heat, beard nets tend to fall apart. And you know that as a chef, you are usually the source of heat. They're cheap for that, and the nice thing is that you can use them without closing your mouth, so you can still drink water while using them.
