Review on EVISTR Digital Voice Recorder 8GB L53-1536KBPS Stereo Audio: Portable Recorder for Lectures with External MIC Support by Vince Preston

Revainrating 5 out of 5

With the best audio settings (PCM/wav "lossless ") I'm fine.

I'm a retired musician and former audio engineer. I use the EVISTR L53 voice recorder to record choir rehearsals by simply sitting on a chair/stand or holding it in my hand. With the best sound setting (PCM/wav "lossless") I get good quality piano, organ and choir recordings for practicing pieces in choir rehearsals. Churches, the recordings are clear and of good quality. The bass, alto and tenor parts as well as the piano sound independent. This thing would be a win-win for something as simple as "lectures" without music. Is this a professional studio quality recorder? no But I doubt you'll find anything better for the low price (around $50) I paid for it. I'm picky and this little guy exceeded my expectations for the performance and sound quality I expected for the price. Pros: Size (small, fits in a shirt pocket), comfort, features, and sound quality. Charges quickly (USB from my computer) and I never ran out of charge during the 90 minute rehearsals, not even close. I use the supplied USB cable to download each sample to my computer, a good 90 minutes of music, with space and energy reserves, in PCM / "lossless" sound quality. Includes USB cable for charging and uploading/downloading (looks like an external drive for your file manager), phone adapter, optional external microphone (you can use it to record music with good quality), but I'm assuming using the "built-in" stereo microphones on . everything is fine on the registrar Cons: Instructions. needs a job. I contacted them and recommend you go to their website and download the PDF manual. This allows you to search the file for features and functionality that you have questions or concerns about. I don't mind playing around with the features to understand them, but if you're one of those people who want a simple and user-friendly interface, . You might be a little disappointed. Bottom line: if you're willing to spend a minimum of time figuring out how to use this thing (most of the imo features are obvious and simple), you can't go wrong with this little guy, especially for the price. I recommend it.
