I think boxes for laying cables are very necessary, especially when overvoltage protection is available. I'm surprised not many people actually use them. I've been using Bluelounge for a while now and was looking for another alternative (a little less expensive). Personally, it bothers me a little that the top is more flexed than flat. At first I thought it was a defect and had to double check with Amazon to make sure it was actually warped for a purpose to keep things from falling off the sides. I probably wouldn't be inclined to put anything heavy on it. It does a good job of cable management and looks pretty trendy. One can argue about which is actually better. The downside is that the Bluelounge is a bit more expensive and doesn't look like wood, but its structure is stronger than DMoose's due to the way they designed their box; So if you want to stack books on the Bluelounge you can be sure that it will keep its shape.
