Review on HUAWEI AM115 Wired Headphones by Jasmit Insha ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor product, below average quality.

The sound was unsatisfactory, and that's putting it mildly; it was unsatisfactory. There were headphones made by Hoco that were copied from iPhones and had a significantly lower rating; yet, even these headphones sounded significantly better. After purchasing these ill-fated headphones, I decided to purchase a Xiaomi dual unit (because I was under the impression that the sound quality of these headphones simply couldn't turn out worse and it turned out that I was right). When listening to music on the AM115, it sounds like real porridge. I have something to compare it to because I also purchased these headphones. When it comes to the quality of the sound, it's a match made in heaven. The sound quality produced by Xiaomi is the most transparent, whereas that of Huawei is slightly lacking in bass. It's possible that Huawei's deep bass is the only positive aspect of their products, but it's not worth it to get points with a terrible frequency range and cheap, plastic-like sound quality. I will also mention that the equalizer is unable to correct this issue. You can increase the frequencies in the region of 15 kHz indefinitely, but this will not improve the sound quality in any way. Equalizers simply are unable to reproduce the frequencies that are accountable for the sound's clarity. Tell me, people who have written that these headphones have a good sound, have you ever listened to headphones that were considered to be good?

Pros
  • I used a frequency generator to validate the bass's quality. You will be able to hear it very clearly and very loudly anywhere from 30 hertz onward. It seems to be in decent shape and is reasonably comfy.
Cons
  • The sound is repugnant (it is utterly synthetic and illegible), and the frequencies in the range from 15 kHz to 17 kHz do not exist at all; there is simply a gap in the frequency range that was indicated. It's possible that this is a hoax, but I highly doubt it.
