I was hesitant to buy this heating blanket mainly because of the price but after several bad experiences with heating tapes burning my honey I had to try it. As soon as I unpacked it, I was impressed by the quality. The comforter was quite heavy and the vinyl on the outside was very durable. It was a little hard to control myself, but it wasn't that bad. The buckles and straps for attaching to my drum proved to be of very good quality and I was able to tighten them fairly tightly. I plugged it in and started working fairly quickly, but didn't immediately notice a difference. I set the temperature on the controller and let it sit overnight. The next morning I was really impressed by how evenly the heat was distributed. The heating tapes I used before should now start to burn. It took another day to warm up the entire drum. So if you need a quick heating solution this might not be the best option but if you have the time you won't be disappointed. Even though it was more expensive than the other options, the fact that I no longer have to worry about burning my honey is worth every penny. I will buy more.
