I bought these to replace my iTouchless can. Know that they are designed to keep odors out while your bin lid is closed, and they do just that. There is no noise as they are charcoal bags (at least not in my bin) housed in a slotted compartment below the battery compartment. These pockets fit snugly in the compartment; more than the standard filters that came with my trash can. The lid just got into the closed position to hold it in place, but it works - hence the 4 out of 5 rating - and I'm not complaining. They're a little more expensive per filter than iTouchless, but I've been wanting to buy them for a year.
