The appearance and design of the shelf is very good, but there are some disadvantages. The brackets are not made properly so the shelf is not level. To fix this I had to bend the bottom brackets of the shelf up. However, this creates another problem. The metal rod running through the front now sits very low and is no longer deeply parallel as I had to bend it quite a bit. You will also need to purchase new drywall anchors. The ones provided don't work at all. They barely open enough to pinch the anchors. (If you're using this in the bathroom next to the vanity I suggest you cover the wood with a clear coat to make it waterproof as the wood itself isn't sealed)::Update::It was only a few days ago and the wood/finish is already peeling/peeling off in several places.
