My company upgraded my MacBook Air and of course all the accessories I have are USB and Mini DisplayPort. I have a 28" Dell monitor with a DVI cable connected to HDMI on the monitor through a KVM switch. My old setup had a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter and it worked fine with my monitor (although the resolution wasn't very high). in 1080p). I was worried about my capabilities but got this hub and HDMI to DVI, plugged it in and it just works! And in high definition! And, even better, it's a nice, compact form factor when my other accessories are plugged in, and it's a quick disconnect and I'm on the go (my previous setup had cables everywhere and 4 separate ones that could be disconnected if " undocked". "This is a device and everything stays connected to it). Love this hub - it's a clean and efficient unit with a nice warm glow. Highly recommended if you need a smart hub for your MacBook Air. I have already recommended it to my colleagues who have also received upgraded laptops.
