Review on Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 8/256 GB, Dual nano SIM, green by Mateusz Maycha ᠌

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

I have an Exynos2100 for Africa. There are some :) And I do not have and will not have a SamsungPay that works with non-African cards. MirPay works well, no complaints. But I asked for India and there is a recording of conversations. In terms of performance, heating and autonomy, these are about the same eggs: smartly, but it sits down and sometimes gets warm. In comparison with S20fe - this phone (as for me) - looks normal, but that one is archaic. Here, the rounding of the screen is the same from top to bottom, the frames around the screen are narrower, the camera block at the back looks beautiful, and it is light. And s21fe is worse in the technical part: there is no SD card, the processor is worse (than the snap865 that does not heat up in s20fe). I decided that beauty will save the world, that olive green and 8/256 for 50tr are the norm, and I took it. Before that, he sat on the A series. In terms of convenience in the hand - everything gets worse. If the Galaxy A50 of the same dimensions sat perfectly in the hand due to some slope of the back cover, then the S21FE sits worse, more "parallelepipedic". (Normally, only a small s22 from the new Samsungs sits in the hand). But now I'm used to it, I forgot how good it used to be. In terms of autonomy, there is good news. Yes, it sits down noticeably faster, it won’t work like forgetting to charge it with the A50 and living quietly for two days. But if you turn on the power saving mode, which, from the noticeable one, disables AlwaysOnDisplay and 120Hz, then the phone will pleasantly surprise you by holding out How long it takes to charge. And I slightly changed my charging life: before there was only a wire by the bed. Now there is a circle of wireless charging at the laptop, and a wire och. fast charging, which for "I'll go eat" charges half. In sum, this closed the question, I'm ok. According to IP68 - I climb into fresh pools and reservoirs with a phone. And I enjoy filming myself in 4k60fps with digital stabilization, plunging under a mountain waterfall or bouncing a bomb in a pool with a phone in my hand. IP68 - Adds cool new use cases. On the main disadvantage (no SD card + slow USB + Windows is not good friends with HEIC-HEIV) - in the "Disadvantages".

Pros
  • Screen, speed, camera, IP68 water resistance, light, beautiful, wireless charging.
Cons
  • No SD card, slow USB port. For me now the main drawback is that it is very inconvenient to put things in order in the pictures. As it was before? When the time came, I took out the SD card, connected it to the computer, removed the excess, copied the necessary to the computer, inserted the SD card back. At the same time, all photos and videos are jpg and mp4, they can be opened with any iron. As it is now? Bad now. 1. There are good HEIC (photo) and HEIV (video) formats. They take up about half the space than jpg and mp4, while storing more quality. And because I can't insert a memory card - I want to store everything carefully, so the heic and heiv formats are selected in the camera settings. 2. But Windows10 is not good friends with these formats. If you are lucky and Windows has already rolled up the ate, you can watch it using regular means. No - it will be necessary to google. 3. No SD - connect the phone to the computer with a wire. Go to the Camera folder. Let there be 10 gigs, about 1000 objects. Windows starts generating previews. It does this slowly, since the phone's USB is not 3.2, but somewhere around 2.0. After about a minute, having formed a small part of the previews, Windows gives up and writes an error, stopping forming. And along the way, it refuses to open files from this folder because "the file is damaged or too large." That is, without downloading the Camera folder to your computer, you will not be able to make out the pictures from your phone. 4. Ok, download to the computer. Download speed - 10GB 15 minutes, 100GB 2.5 hours or more. Do not forget to allocate as much space on your computer for this business. 5. How to download - you can "work" with photo-video in Windows - previews are formed more fun. Something was deleted, something was copied over the folders. I do not advise deleting all the pictures from the phone, because. then there will be treacherously nothing to show if necessary from the phone "pictures from the mountains" or "from the sea." 6. Now we delete the Camera folder on the phone, and copy the Camera folder from the computer to the phone. 10GB 15 minutes, 100GB 2.5 hours. That is, Samsung puts spokes in the wheels with the lack of an SD card and a very slow USB port. And Windows - poor support for HEIC and HEIV formats.
