Sturdy ribbon cable
This is exactly what I needed to connect two JL Cooper Synapse MIDI routers. The plastic on the connectors is well molded and fits snugly into the 26-pin IDC connectors. The flexible plastic body that makes up the tape is flexible and tear-resistant. Ideal for a one-time installation but will likely endure some tugs and tugs.
