Review on Diode Dynamics LED Sidemarkers Compatible With Jeep JL Wrangler 2018-2021 Smoked (Set) by Alex Taylor

The very first modification for the JL Wrangler!

When I saw they came out for the new JL Wrangler I knew I had to order them! The amber side window is a very light amber color and it just doesn't look right with certain colors for the new Wrangler - they do the trick and make the chases look like solid clear foil all around! However, let me warn you about installation - even with the included instructions and YouTube videos that seem easy, it's not that easy. 1.5-2 hours for installation and very tight space - but let me give you a little advice on installation - installation tip -1. Buy or borrow a plastic tool kit and make sure you have the required T29 torx bit (make sure it's the long-handled version, or learn how to flimsy and lockable power). put on my very small torx bit and barely got it to work2. Remove the plastic film from the inside of the tire well but not completely, just enough to give you room to work with the light body (this is the easiest part) and again use the trim kit to remove the plastic clips3. Use the lock pick included in the finishing kit to CAREFULLY lift the clip holding the side lens connector, then slowly pull the connector out of all the lenses - it's a small thin wire so be careful! Here I saved once and made a 2nd light in less than 20 minutes - (1st light took about 1.5 hours to figure out). at the corner of the body) insert a long Torx T29 bit into the corner of the body where the side lens screw is located, and each time gently pull the side plate to make more room - *Once you start looking for of the screw , DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREW OF THE ENTIRE BRACKET, BUT PULL THE LENS FROM THE SIDE, LEAVE THE SCREW IN THE HOLE TO REINSTALL5. The instructions require you to almost remove the headlight housing to access the side pan-head screw, but that's not necessary and it's a lot of extra work and the possibility of loosening a screw or ruining the headlight bracket - if you use a flimsy bracket with a torx bit into a corner where the screw side of the lens is - you don't have to - and I'll prove it works! 6. Make sure you put the screw from the side lens barrel that you didn't remove into the new hole of the new lens and tighten it firmly (You will see that it is not flush until you tighten it. Hope that helps I'm a DIYer and had no experience installing stuff but I'm trying to learn it on the side - I'd say level 2 is set up here for beginners!the LED is amber 3. The price of the part itself is very reasonable Cons 1. Installation can be very difficult if you don't have the right tools!
