These candles are very pretty, good quality, easy to use and nice to look at. However, they are not that bright. I give 3 stars because I ordered two. Both look very nice, however one of them is very weak (the flame) compared to the other. If you only need one it should work for you, but if you need several be aware you may not get them with the same brightness. I would send it back but it's too cumbersome and I don't light them often enough to be concerned. Yes, I have used good quality new batteries and even tried other batteries. Nothing mattered. Yes, I also adjusted the brightness on the candle with the remote and it still didn't work.
