I bought this to use when I go shopping. I have to say that it works very well, quite versatile. I stick my finger through the hole so I can take the items to scan. I attach it to the steering wheel before heading out to the track for the GPS. The 360 degree rotation helps when I attach it to a shopping cart for quick hands-free scanning of items. Best money spent in recent times. My phone plus case is ridiculously large, 3.6" x 7", and it still fits if it's stretchy. And no, I wasn't paid, that's my honest opinion.
