Review on Sennheiser XSW D XLR Base Set by Joel Gardner

interference problem?

I'm a BIG Sennheiser fan, my microphone I use with this system is an Evolution 845. I love how it sounds in "BIG" situations and it's great for me . . When I'm performing in a restaurant that has TVs, a fairly small terrace with people on the phone, I hear noise and find it distracting. When I rehearse in other situations as well I don't seem to have a problem and like it, but I'm using an XLR cable again for my regular gigs at this location. I don't know, maybe there are too many wireless/Bluetooth devices out there, compounded by my setup with 2 Bluetooth signals plus XLR based WiFi AND the new Sennheiser XSW-D, but it stinks that I don't can use more. to move. In fact, I'm afraid that if I use it in other places where people use their phones I might have intermittent noise, I can't allow that. So, I love how light it is, it's tiny, it lasts for hours BUT. Buyers, be careful if your gig includes a venue with TVs, people talking on their phones, making videos or sharing photos at your concert, you could have noise from your PA.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
