I had my doubts buying these non-genuine ink cartridges because I know their quality is everywhere and printer manufacturers make it difficult to use non-genuine replacement cartridges, but I did actually have no problems. When you put them in the printer it complains that they aren't real, but you can press OK or Back and they work fine. While I don't use this printer for high-volume jobs or high-quality photos, it's good enough for general day-to-day tasks. As long as they last a while I'm happy.
