I bought a red dress that looked more of a maroon in the Revain photo. However, customer photos showed a more intense red, so I was neither shocked nor overly disappointed. I bought a maroon hat to match the dress so it wasn't the combination I was hoping for. I'm 5ft 2in, 175lbs and 38D. Bought XL. Fits perfectly. It's really made well enough to wear repeatedly. The fabric is NOT transparent. She wore the dress over an old evening dress but will wear it again as a casual dress just as easily. I'm even considering buying it in a different color.
